Training & Consultancy
Oxford Forensic Psychology is driven to deliver a responsive, bespoke and needs led service receptive to the needs of your staff or organisation. We have significant experience in the teaching, training and development of others, whether they be psychologists, probation staff or other forensic practitioners, or those who work in forensic settings.
We can provide a range of workshops and training packages to aid professional development, and we take great pride in offering evidence-based, practitioner led training. We take every measure to ensure that you are provided with the right training to meet your needs and ensuring that the learning environment is purposeful, constructive and fun.
Consultancy
Here at Oxford Forensic Psychology, our psychologists have significant experience in working with individuals themselves, as well as with the organisation as a system to deliver a needs led and a formulation driven approach to consultancy. We offer clinical supervision, case consultation, peer and professional supervision. As a current example, one of our Team provides psychological advice and consultancy services to agencies, organisations and practitioners who manage individuals with complex needs that have offended. Similarly, one of our Team has been involved in training and consulting to psychiatric and psychological teams in the National Health Service in Malta.
Supervision
We also provide Supervision services for practitioners working with individuals with complex needs and for Forensic Psychologists in Training, for example through individual and peer supervision forums. Supervision is tailored to meet the needs of the supervisee, for example their well-being and their psychological needs as well as CPD requirements.
