Forensic Psychology in Oxfordshire
Oxford Forensic Psychology is an independent psychology service that is based in north Oxfordshire. We offer practical, impartial and needs-led psychological services to those living and working within the Oxfordshire area and surrounding counties. Alongside providing a range of specialist forensic and clinical psychological services, we also provide consultancy, training and expert witness services to solicitors and their clients more widely across the UK.
As Psychologists and experienced healthcare professionals, we follow a person-centred, needs-led and responsive clinical approach to clients, being able to offer a collaborative and bespoke assessment, treatment planning and treatment services. We value an open and transparent approach that has the notions of respect, dignity and confidentiality at the core. We have a positive history of offering high quality and cost effective services to leading legal firms, health agencies and the criminal justice system.
Our services include delivering formulation-driven risk and treatment needs assessments as an expert witness, psychological treatment, treatment planning, and a variety of training and consultancy services. We also offer supervision to other psychologists, including those in training. Predominantly, we work with solicitors practicing within Criminal and Prison Law, Mental Health Law, and within Asylum and Immigration Law.
As a company we ensure defensible and ethical practice, and have a strong commitment to continuing professional development. We also recognise the importance of sensitivity relating to information and are registered under the Data Protection Act with the Information Commission. Our practitioners are qualified and experienced Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Psychologists as well as being British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologists.
